How to Use the Meta Tag Generator
- Title Tag: Enter the title of your webpage (max 60 characters).
- Meta Description: Write a brief description of your page (max 160 characters).
- Meta Keywords: Add relevant keywords separated by commas.
- Robots Meta Tag: Choose how search engines should index your page.
- Author: Specify the author of the page.
- Viewport: Set the viewport for responsive design (default is recommended).
- Charset: Define the character encoding (default is UTF-8).
- Open Graph Tags: Add social media metadata for platforms like Facebook.
- Twitter Cards: Add metadata for Twitter sharing.
- Custom Tags: Use the “Add Custom Tag” button to include additional meta tags.
- Generate: Click “Generate” to create your meta tags.
- Copy/Download: Use the “Copy to Clipboard” or “Download as HTML” buttons to save your tags.
- Preview: Click “Preview” to see how your meta tags will look in a webpage.
- Reset: Use the “Reset” button to clear all fields.
- Validate: Check for errors in your meta tags using the “Validate” button.

How to Use the Meta Tag Generator
1. Enter Meta Tag Information
- Title Tag:
Input the title of your webpage (important for SEO).
- Meta Description:
Provide a brief description of your webpage.
- Meta Keywords:
Enter relevant keywords separated by commas.
- Robots Meta Tag:
Choose whether search engines should index and follow your page.
- Author Meta Tag:
Specify the author of the webpage.
- Viewport Meta Tag:
Adjust viewport settings for mobile responsiveness.
- Charset Meta Tag:
Define the character encoding (default: UTF-8).
2. Configure Open Graph & Twitter Meta Tags
- OG Title: Enter the title for social media sharing.
- OG Description: Add a short description for Open Graph.
- OG URL: Specify the URL to be linked when shared.
- Twitter Title & Description: Similar to Open Graph but for Twitter cards.
3. Generate & Use Meta Tags
- Click the “Generate” button to create your meta tags.
- Your generated meta tags will appear in the text area.
4. Utilize the Meta Tags
- Copy to Clipboard: Click to copy and paste the tags into your HTML file.
- Download as HTML: Save the generated meta tags as an HTML file.
- Preview: Open a new window to see how your meta tags will look.
5. Manage Your Input
- Reset: Clears all fields to start over.
- Validate: (Feature coming soon) Will check the correctness of your meta tags.
6. Get Help
- Click the “Help” button to see a quick summary of how to use the tool.
